There was a smaller number of bowlers in attendance last week at Young Services Club Indoor Bowls due to many of the lucky players already enjoying Christmas holidays.

There were two ladies who joined the club last week to try their hand at indoor bowls with the club hoping they enjoyed their evening with them.
“We do hope Gwen Williams and Beryl Callaway return again as we are always looking for new members,” a spokesperson for the club said.

After three games of pairs the winners were Thelma Roberts and Robyn Tierney.
Runners-up for the week were Bob Martin, Eric Gluyas and Beryl Callaway.
The lucky winner of the club voucher was June Friend.
We will see you all at our Christmas party that will be held at the Services Club on Sunday December 10 from 12.30pm.
Next Wednesday night is expected to be a fun night, so come along to the auditorium at the Services Club.
Indoor bowls is played every Wednesday night with names in by 6.30pm for play to start at 7pm.
