Young’s Gunners cricket team put on a big hitting display and set an unreachable target for Temora’s Renegades last weekend. The Gunners scored 160 and in reply the Renegades only managed to score 68. After winning the toss and electing to bat the Gunners got off to a solid start with Craig Wills and Ray Death scoring 44. There was some big hitting from Pete Jolliffe and Kiran Richens. Despite missing its regular opening bowler the Gunners were really good in the field. Mark Newham took the new ball and bowled well to take three wickets. Man of the match was Ethan 'beefa' Richens with career best figures of 5/31 off 8 overs. Tyler Hurcum chipped in with 2/0 of three balls to give the Gunners a great win.
