Eager to challenge himself with the Wagga City Wanderers but determined not to abandon his fresh-faced Young outfit, Lions captain Duncan Cameron is gearing himself up to play for both clubs next season.

Cameron will play up to 180 minutes each weekend, competing in the State League every Saturday and in the local competition every Sunday.
The 23-year-old skipper admits it will be a challenge, but says it’s one he’s ready for.
“I wanted to give it a crack before I got too old,” he said with a laugh.
“It’ll be hard but fun at the same time.
“I can’t wait for it, it should be a really good year.”
Cameron said he had received a flurry of offers from Wagga teams.
But having established himself as the heart and sole of his hometown club, he was never going anywhere.
“I wanted to stick around for all the young fellas we have here,” Cameron said.
“I’ve always been around with them and I do love helping them along. “I feel like they’ll be ready to give it a really good crack in the next year or two.”
Cameron added that he was bracing himself for more travel than ever, but said he was looking forward to playing with a host of the region’s best, players he usually goes up against in the Pascoe Cup.
It’s been a big year for the Lions leader, who took out the Pascoe Cup Player of the Year award in September.
