New figures have revealed the ten most popular courses for 2017 were dominated by a determination to help others. Courses in first aid, early childhood care, individual support and youth engagement all figure in the top 10 list.
TAFE NSW Regional General Manager Kerry Penton said the results showed what a truly caring community Young was.
“Many of these courses are being driven by industry demand and because our students enjoy hands-on learning from industry experts,” she said.
“But the fact so many of the courses are focused on helping others is a wonderful reflection of the Young community.
“The Young community wears its humanitarian heart on its sleeve, especially at this time of year."
Stage two of a massive $10.4 million upgrade of the TAFE NSW Young Campus was officially opened In October 2017.
