O’Farrell Cup historian John Scascighini said Hall’s feat of four wickets of four balls had only been done once before in the entire history of the competition.
“This is only the second time in the history of the O'Farrell cup that this has happened,” he said.
“In 1946 Clint Loiterton of Cootamundra took four for one against Narrandera.
“The one run in Clint’s over was a no-ball.
“Hall’s figures for the day were amazing.”
Mr Scascighini said Hall was the first Young player to take four wickets of four balls in the cup.
“Jason’s achievement was a once in a lifetime performance,” he said.
“It was 70 years ago that the last one happened so we could expect the next one early in the 2080s long after most of us are gone.
“Cricket is a funny game, but that’s why so many people love it.”
