The programs for events in Young, Harden, Boorowa and Wombat are now available on Council’s website, www.hilltops.nsw.gov.au.
Events also include ceremonies to announce Australia Day Award recipients in each centre.
“It’s important to acknowledge and thank those in the community who help, organise, give or campaign for the benefit of others, and the Australia Day Awards are a great way to do this,” Hilltops mayor Brian Ingram said.
“The awards also inspire others to become involved and continue building on the work being carried out by these generous people who give their time and effort so selflessly to the community,” he said.
Australia Day Ambassadors will be on hand to join in the celebrations.
Zoe Naylor an actress, journalist, writer and producer will be in Young to celebrate with locals what it means to be Australian.
