The NSW Family and Carer Mental Health Program aims to support the carers of people living with a mental illness.
The program is delivered locally through a partnership between Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) and One Door Mental Health.
MLHD’s Coordinator, Family Friendly Mental Health Strategy, Luciano Lo Bartolo said the role of the Advisory Committee is to monitor and advise on the implementation of the program.
“We have two existing carer representatives based in Griffith and Deniliquin. We are now looking for two more people from Young to complete the committee,” he said.
The committee meets three times a year, usually by teleconference, for about 90 minutes. Please contact Luciano Lo Bartolo on mobile 0427 273 895.
