Greyhound racing returned to the Alfred Oval track on Saturday night in Young with the running of a nine race program.

Classy Offer dispelled all suggestions he wasn't a 520 metre greyhound with a outstanding coast to coast victory.

Trained by Vicki Prest of Young the son of Superman was never headed in 30.40 winning by four lengths.

It was the second leg of a winning double for Prest after Pinnacle Girl led all the way in heat one of the maiden.

Trainer Rodney McDonald also capped a winning double and continued a great season for Dana Lodge.

The Young and District Greyhound Racing Club will race again on Saturday night with the first race kicking off at 7.30pm.

Results: Race One – Pinnacle Girl, Race Two – Hot Pearl, Race Three – Leroy Izmir, Race Four – Dana Courtney, Race Five – Classy Offer, Race Six – Dana Makin, Race Seven – Everton Boy, Race Eight – Country Fantasy, Race Nine – Mac’s Intent.
