The festival will be held on Saturday March 24, with the official opening at 4pm in front of the town hall.
The program is an extensive one, with many activities for the whole family.

Shows
Two centres in the Hilltops region will be celebrating their annual agricultural shows early next month; Boorowa on March 2 and 3, Koorawatha on March 4.
Koorawatha offers pavilion, yard dogs, cattle, sheep and horses, chainsaw races, a car and ute show, stall and rides for all ages, tug-a-war and a prince and princess competition. At Boorowa the show office at the Old Court House opens next week for entries and inquiries. The Boorowa Show is a popular event on the calendar and will offer the time-honoured attractions in 2018.
Plant Selection Workshop
Since moving to Young award-winning Garden Designer Glenice Buck has presented a number of helpful garden workshops covering a range of topics.
Glenice says that plant selection is the hardest part of the garden design process and it is this topic that she will be discussing at her workshop on Saturday March 3.
Family Duck Day
The annual Family Duck Day is on this Sunday February 18 at the Young Aquatic Centre. Lots of fun activity both in and out of the pool, all for the cause of low speed run over presentation and family support.
International Women’s Day
Don’t miss an inspiring day at Boorowa on Sunday March 11 when keynote speakers Yvonne Allen, Emma Rossi, Rachael Stevens and Claire Beath discuss “Fear on the Frontline” during the annual Boorowa International Women’s Day event. Free Concert Series- Today
The half hour free concert series at Young Library will be conducted from 12.30pm today with local performer James Cronin taking to the stage. James is a seasoned performer, part of the Pepperjack group and he sings and plays guitar. Everyone is welcome to attend and bring coffee and lunch if desired.
