FEBRUARY IS OVARIAN CANCER AWARENESS MONTH.
The Women of Young Women’s Bowling Club are hosting a Charity Day on Tuesday 20 February to raise money for Research into the treatment of Ovarian Cancer. Starting at 10 am those who wish to donate to this very worthy cause are invited to come and Join us at the Bowling Club and if you haven’t rolled a bowl, have a go out on the green as well.
Ovarian Cancer has the lowest survival rate of any women’s cancer. Treatment for this disease has changed little since the 1970’s and 75% of the women are diagnosed at an advanced stage, often because they are unaware of the signs and symptoms of this disease.
If you live in Grenfell, Boorowa, Harden, Binalong, Cootamundra or Cowra, come and join us, enjoy the morning and donate whatever you can to this very important cause.
