Council wants to hear from residents on waste

Hilltops Council is inviting the entire community to consult on a new Waste Management Strategy for the region.

The meeting will be held at Young Town Hall on Wednesday March 14 from 10am and Council would like to hear from as many residents as it can.

A spokesperson from Hilltops Council said they want to engage with the community and have a conversation about waste management which will help guide the formation of the new strategy that will put in place long-term solutions to waste management across the Hilltops.

“Come along to our forum to learn more about waste management practices in the Hilltops and to provide input on shaping the new Waste Management Strategy.

“We want to hear from as many residents as possible,” the spokesperson said.

To have a say be sure to get down to Young Town Hall at 10am on Wednesday and spread the word to as many residents as possible.
