Donges Supa IGA has increased its support for the arts in the region by sponsoring musicians from the Young Regional School of Music (YRSM).

Donges Supa IGA manager Wendy Silk said they sponsor many sporting and community groups in Young.
"As part of this, we sponsor the Young Regional School of Music Red Cherry Jazz Ensemble," she said. "It is important to our business to support music and arts in the community as well as sporting groups."
As Young Regional School of Music (YRSM) gears up for its 35th Anniversary in 2019, CEO, Matt Bolger said its many ensembles are practising hard.
“Many students learn individually to sing or play their instruments, but playing in an ensemble as a team member is just like being on the football field," he said. “The ensemble team has to have a plan, strategies, train and work together to produce a great musical result. "The Red Cherry Jazz ensemble could not do their work without the ongoing valued support of Donges Supa IGA here at Young.”
