A Will is a detailed document that precisely describes what you want to happen to you and your family, at the time of your passing.
With so many locals unsure of the steps that need to be taken to either establish a will or how to go about it the NSW Trustee and Guardian have set up the days in Young, Albury, Corowa and Cootamundra.
“Life is everchanging and brings new circumstances at an erratic rate, so planning ahead your affairs and putting what is most important first, is a number one priority,” a NSW Trustee and Guardian spokesperson said
"With the professional experience of the NSW Trustee and Guardian, there is no better time to get your intentions under control."
"We have seen many different situations and people in a range of family circumstances, so we are well experienced to help and offer advice on estate planning,"
The NSW Trustee and Guardian spokesperson strongly believes organising future requirements, allows individuals to be prepared for unpredictable events that can occur and it is primary that all plans are documented.
"Without a will, items of monetary and sentimental value may not be distributed as you may have wanted," the spokesperson said.
“Obtaining and updating a will can relieve pressure and allow you to enjoy life to its fullest, knowing that you and your loved ones are taken care of.”
According to the NSW Trustee and Guardian spokesperson the organisation has written more than one-million wills and know how to deal with each individual’s situation in the best possible manner in a way to try to suit each and every circumstance.
"Every adult 18-years-and-over needs to set time aside to get these documents in place because no one knows what is around the corner"
The Plan Ahead day will be held on Monday at the Young Court House on the corner of Main Street and Cloete Street, next to the Young Post Office.
Bookings with the team will be essential to allow adequate time with the Trustee and Guardian expert team.
