The event was organised by Hilltops Choir’s own musical director Rodney Clancy and was a great opportunity for the choir to sing and hear another conductor.
Afterwards the Sydney Male Choir together with Hilltops Choir entertained an appreciative audience at the Young Town Hall singing broadway musical numbers, classical, sacred, spiritual and quirky fun tunes.
“A special thank you must go to the two accompanists – Dewi Liu from Sydney and Stewart Bruce from Harden – providing solid support for all the choristers,” Hilltops Choir publicity officer Helen Bruce said.
Anyone who would like to join the Hilltops Choir is invited to attend the group’s rehearsal to check them out.
The Hilltops Choir meet on Monday nights between 7.30 – 9.30pm at the Uniting Church Hall at Young.
