Junior monthly winners
January – Corey McCoy, whipcracking – Corey competed at the Victorian AWPA whip cracking state titles in Seymour where he won the Victorian Juvenille Champion Title. Corey is also the current Tasmanian title holder and competed in the Australian titles at Sydney Show.

February – Sophie Granger, equestrian – Sophie is an avid rider and competes regularly for Bribbaree Pony Club at events as well as in the show ring. Sophie was awarded a top award from the Australian Stock Horse Association earlier this year for her success in competing.
April – Bree Smith, cutting – Bree was awarded the NCHA National Title for Junior Youth of The Year at the recent National championships. Bree has only been showing in the Cutting Arena for 14 months, but she has already acquired at least eight trophy buckles in the last 12 months.
Intermediate monthly winners
February – Ethan Newham, Blake Coombes and Thomas McIllhatton, Rugby League – The three Cherrypicker players were selected to represent and ran on the field for the Under 16s Riverina Bulls Rugby League side in February.
March – Steve Anderson, Rugby League – The Under 18s Cherrypicker may only be 17 but the second rower and lock forward was selected to play with the big guns in the Murrumbidgee Bulls Rugby League side this season.
April – Nick Smith, cutting – Nick won the National Title for the National Cutting Horse Association “Rookie of The Year”, he also took out the National title for the NCHA “Senior Youth of the Year” for the second year in a row. Senior Youth is awarded to riders from 15 years to 19 years of age and Rookies is open to any age.
Senior monthly winners
January – Laura Delamont, equestrian – Laura has a had a fantastic year in the saddle, not only winning several classes in the dressage arena but she and her horse “Daisy-A-Day” also took out Young Dressage Association’s Medium Horse of the Year.
March – Ashley Seery, Motocross – The 2018 Motocross season has started with a bang for Ashley Seery whose recent third-place finish in the second Queen of MX NSW State Qualifier at Nowra handed her a golden ticket to the finals in Port Macquarie over the June long weekend.
April – Tracie Wells, equestrian – Tracie and her horse ‘Showman’ or Kevin as he’s affectionately known, were awarded the Grand Champion Rider for 2018 after the pair won their rider class in the 30-year age division at the Show Horse Council Australasia Grand Nationals at the Sydney Equestrian Centre.
Team monthly winners
February – Young Bowling Club’s John Cooper, Brian Madden, Damien Miller and David Quigley, South West District Fours Champions, lawn bowls.
March – Young Toothless Lions over 35 Soccer Team, soccer.
April – Young Bowling Club’s Graeme Edgerton and Geoff Holt, South West District Pairs Champions, lawn bowls.
