The event has had a record number of entries with over 320 people registering to compete in a number of levels of the competition.
One of the people competing this weekend will be Rebecca Hewson who will be taking part in her first competition in over 10-years.
“I’m really excited,” Rebecca said. “With a huge number of competitors taking part it’s shaping up to be a fantastic weekend.”
According to Rebecca her only goal this weekend is to make it to the cross-country on Sunday and not fall off into the water jump.
“Blue has never done anything like this before, it was only a couple of months ago that he even started jumping, but so far he’s loving it, especially the cross country.
“His dressage is going to be interesting to say the least,” Rebecca said.
Rebecca and the other riders from Young will kick off the Horse Trials on Saturday with dressage.
