Women golfers traveled from Gundagai, Temora, Cootamundra, Ariah Park, Caragabal, Canberra, Harden and Bathurst.
Saturday was a 4BBB and Noela Hardman teamed up with Libby Plumley and they were the winning pair on 40 points albeit on a Countback from Pammie Mcloy, Liz Harding,Betty Stanton and Margaret Mainwaring.
Pammie McCloy handed in a great card to take the Individual win with 36 points.
N.T.P on the seventh was Fran Telfer one of our visitors from Canberra with Local Noela Hardman was N.T.P on the 13th. Ball Comp went from 36-29.
On Sunday 58 Ladies took part in a Stroke/Stableford. Conditions were cold and some scores reflected the difficulties some visitors faced. Many comments on the great condition of the course were heard.
The A.Grade Scratch Winner was our very own Liz Harding once again playing great golf with a card showing 84 gross, 76 nett and 32 Stb Pts. Congratulations Liz.
The B.Grade Scratch Winner was Julie Jenkins from Cootamundra 100gross, 77 Nett and 31 Stb Pts.
The C.Grade Scratch Winner was Larraine Nicolls 104 gross, 72 nett, 37 Stb Pts. Congratulations to the winners.
No Tournament can be held without the help of those in the background. Many thanks to everyone who helped in the Kitchen preparing the lunch and to the ladies who provided the delicious food.
Thanks also to Jeff Connelly, President of The Services Club who spent the morning helping with whatever was asked of him.
