The Young and District Multicultural Association (YADMA) wants all Young residents to attend its “fun day” on June 29 at the Young Town Hall from 1 pm to 5 pm.

YADMA Spokesperson Josie Johnson said the day was about promoting quality of life in an unusual and entertaining manner.
“The day will be held in conjunction with the regional disability advocacy service and the NDIS with a particular emphasis for youth and non-English speaking individuals,” she said.
“But, we would like to see everybody from the Hilltops community there on the day.
“The day is free of charge, and there will be lots of tasty foods, and tea and coffee.”
The programme for the day is designed to be inclusive for a wide range of interests and will include;
- A theatrical presentation of events in the life of a multicultural community.
- Free BBQ finger food, tea and coffee
- Thai cooking demonstration
- Health checks
- Personal pampering
- Kids arts and craft activity
- Bollywood dancing
