Attractions
There are many attractions to please in Hilltops this weekend.
You’ll find market stalls at the Uniting Church hall and grounds in Young, a weekend long swap meet at the oval in Wombat village and an open day at Iandra Castle. The Rustic Maze and Garden, located near the castle, will be open over the weekend before it will close for non- pre booked public arrivals until September. Visit Taubman and Webb Trading Post, Poppas Fudge and Jam Factory, Lambing Flat Folk Museum, local wineries and enjoy local food at Hilltops eateries.
Day for the Blokes at Boorowa
Well know ABC sports identity Peter Wilkins and “Big Fish” presenter John Clarke are headed for Boorowa for a special men’s night to be held at the Boorowa Recreation Club Auditorium on Friday July 27. There will be health checks and a barbecue too. The event is being funded from monies raised at the “Who Do You Think I Am Day” with Gretel Killeen, held in 2017. Bookings are essential and can be made at Boorowa Recreation Club after 4pm.
Guitar Maestro Visit
Young Regional School of Music presents guitar maestro Bruce Mathiske at the Performance Room at Noteworthy House on Friday June 29. This rhythmic virtuoso is a big crowd pleaser and his music has been influenced by his extensive travels. Book now at the music school on 6382 5735.
