Interest is growing in the Seventh National Tractor Trek which will be conducted over three days in the Hilltops region this September. The event centres on the Young Showground, with treks to Iandra, Tout’s Lookout, Chinaman’s Dam and the other local attractions. Organisers are expecting tractor owners from throughout NSW and interstate to take part. A big event.

Soup Day and High Tea
Young Hospital Auxiliary members have a goal to provide a $40,000 piece of equipment for the hospital and they are looking for support from all the community. The members plan their annual Soup Day at Young Town Hall again this year, with the date July 20. To help boost funds they are adding an additional event – a High Tea – to their program this year.
