Thanks to Brian and Juicy Lucy the cafe will be opened especially for those who wish to attend and network or get to know other parents and careers in the local community who have children who are on the spectrum.
The event will be a great opportunity to catch up, have a cup of coffee and meet other parents and carers and to discuss coping techniques as well as the opportunity to have a cup of coffee with other adults in a judgement free zone.
The event is open to those who aren’t members of the Facebook page but have a child who has been diagnosed as being on the spectrum.
“I’m really looking forward to the chance to speak with other parents who may be able to give me some tips and tricks when it comes to dealing with my child,” ASD parent Rebecca Hewson said.
The morning tea will be at Juicy Lucy on Sunday morning from 10.30am.
