Anglicans in Young welcomed their new Rector, Neil Percival, to the congregation last weekend at St John's.

The Reverend and his family have spent the last fifteen years in Berry, NSW and are looking forward to their time in Young.

“I am always positive, and my goal in Young will be to serve the community, the heart of my job is to teach and preach the word of God,” he said.

“My message will be one of positivity and to be charitable to each other, that Christian attitude transforms people’s lives.”

Apart from his religious duties Reverend Percival is an active member of the NSW Rural Fire Service and has a keen interest in trauma care, stress management and mental health.

The Reverend is married to Leanne, and they have three children.
