“We played at a speed where we felt that they couldn’t play and it did awesome for us,” coach Saul Lealaitafea said.
The girls managed to get ahead of the Tigresses and the Cherryettes didn’t take their foot off the throttle.
“The girls are getting pretty good at holding leads,” Lealaitafea said.
Tries for the girls went to A Carroll (1), S Inwood (1), C Wood (2), C Jones (2), S Mewton (1) and J McInerney (1).
Shelby Inwood also converted two goals for the side.
Heading into round 12 this weekend the Young ladies are sitting in sixth place on 10 points behind Brothers (20), Albury Thunder (20), Temora Dragons (18), Kangaroos (14) and the Cootamundra Bulldogs (12).
This weekend the girls will take on South City in Wagga.
“We’re coming towards the end of our season and feel like finals footy has already started.”
