Young Cherrypickers have gone down to Southcity last weekend.
The Bulls blew Young off Harris Park in the second stanza to claim a 54-12 victory.
Southcity scored twice off clever plays from Nathan Rose in the first six minutes but then let Young back into the contest with plenty of handling errors.
The Cherrypickers made it 22-12 just after half-time before the Bulls scored the last six tries of game.
Fullback Jake Dooley claimed two of them.
He thought Southcity played with a lot more control in the second half and it showed on the scoreboard.
“The second half was heaps better and we scored a fair few tries going against the wind,” Dooley said.
“It was a lot better effort.”
