In fact the whole first semester of the year has been very busy.
The term started off with our Years 5 and 6 students attending a Careers Day at the Young High School.
What an informative day for them!
It got them thinking about what they might like to do when they leave school.
They were able to ask questions to various universities and defence forces as well as check out what TAFE can offer them locally.

All of our students performed at the Cowra Eisteddfod.
The whole school sang in the choir section and also performed on the drums in the infants and primary percussion sections.
We received highly commended for all performances.
Thank you very much to Mark Corkery from the Young Regional School of Music for teaching the students their drum pieces.
Everybody looks forward to Mark coming out to the school each Friday morning for their weekly music tuition.
During the school year our school has many opportunities to join together with other schools in our district.
Earlier this term our primary students attended Young High School for a Sporting Leadership Skills Day.
The students loved this opportunity to join in with other students from the small schools, Young North and Young Public in fun activities, making new friends in the process.
In this jam-packed term, we also had time to go to Bribbaree on two separate occasions – for the Cross Country Carnival and a Robotics Day.
The Cross Country saw our students perform amazingly well and congratulations to those who made it to the District Cross Country Carnival.
Our Robotics day was an interactive day full of STEM activities run by engineering students from the University of NSW.
This was certainly the highlight of the term for some of our students.
