Sitting fifth on the ladder coach Mark Mellish is confident of a good run home to the finals.
“We need to focus on the simple things we were doing well at the beginning of the season, we seem to have stopped doing them in patches during games in the middle of the season,” he said.
“In the last month we’ve gone away from our game plan, and we haven't exploited weaknesses in the opposition, and we haven't played to our strengths as much as we should be. I think we are ahead of where we anticipated we’d be ladder wise, we started the season well, but we haven't consolidated that good form.
“We have to take it to every team that we face for the rest of the season because there are eight teams in the Pascoe Cup that can finish in the top six. We’re a chance if we play to what we are capable of to be there and not just to make up the numbers.”
