Bowlers look forward to a busy time between now and Christmas.

Club Triples Championships have been moved to September 11 but entries open August 7 and close on 21st.

Get your teams together.

Between August 8 and 12 the State Pennants Playoff will be held on the Central Coast with Young’s Level two Pennant Team attending.

Cootamundra Ex Services Triples Medley is on August 15 and most important to Women Bowlers Young WBC Presidents Day will be on August 28.

TUESDAY SOCIAL BOWLS: Tuesday had an excellent number of players and played two games of Triples.

Robyn Tierney (swinging Lead), Jenny Holt and Sheila Traynor won by three shots against Robyn, Zita Farrell and Heather Bailey. Judith Mulligan, Lee Veitch and Kate Cooper won by five shots on the last end against Margaret Glasheen, Ann Gardner and Judy Watson.

BOWLER REMEMBERED: Brenda Roberts, a long-time member of Young WBC, has passed away at the grand age of 101. Brenda spent the later part of her life at Southern Cross Apartments at Harden and is well remembered for being a popular Social Bowler.

NOTE: Young WBC Monthly meeting will be a week later on August 20 because of State Pennants Playoff.
