Most rain since June recorded on Saturday

The 7.6mm rain that fell in Young on Saturday was the most the Cherry Capital has recorded in a day since June 9 this year.

Sunday’s temperature reached a top of 17 degrees before the mercury dipped to 2.2 degrees overnight.

Residents can expect frosty mornings until the end of the week with the Bureau of Meteorolgy forecasting zero or below zero starts to the day until Saturday.

High temperatures are set to range from 12 to 18 degrees this week.
