The girls took part in the 2018 Festival of Choral Music at the Concert Hall of the Sydney Opera House. The series of four concerts involved hundreds of schools and students from across NSW.
Chloe and Sophie were selected to be part of the Riverina Central Choir.
Chloe and Sophie absolutely loved the experience and along with their parents travelled to Sydney for the event.
“The night was simply magical,” mother Jane Worner said. “The girls still have stars in their eyes from performing on one of the greatest stages in the world!”
YRSM CEO Matt Bolger also agreed.
“The opportunity to sing and perform on stage with similar age public school students, with musicians who are world class was certainly very special!” Mr Bolger said.
“I really congratulate Chloe and Sophie, along with their parents for making the effort, to attend the rehearsals and performances.”
Students and their teachers came together to form combined choirs of 700 performers each night. The Festival also provided a unique opportunity for schools to access targeted high quality repertoire and professional learning opportunities.
