The Young Historical Society are preparing to launch their new DVD and history panels which illustrates the history of James, Thomas and John White.
Leon Isackson, author of the book “Brothers in Exile”, which this story was based, will also be a guest speaker at the launch.
Leon is Sarah Musgrave’s nee’ White great grandson and enjoyed a career as a drummer. He performed with Dig Richards and the R’Jays in 1959 which became the Rajahs in 1964 and Johnny O’Keefe’s backing band for three years. He entertained the troops in Vietnam with Lucky Starr and then Eden Kane. He still performs and entertains at various venues.
The DVD will be shown on Saturday August 11 from 2pm at the Lambing Flat Museum. Afternoon Tea will be served and a gold coin donation would be appreciated. The event will be a great for local history buffs.
