Money raised will go towards a safe, transitional housing centre for men and youth in the area.
The calendar is being created by Ellie Burstal and her partner Chris Carrie, with Young photographer Chontelle Perrin capturing the images.
Both male and female farmers will feature.
Ellie hopes the calendar sparks a conversation of mental health among farmers, and hopes it saves a life.

“We hope to help people to understand they aren’t alone and committing suicide doesn’t have to be their only option,” she said.
“This calendar is very important to us having grown up on a farm and living in rural towns we know how stressful and isolating it can feel sometimes.
“Also with the dry times looming over us we thought everyone could use a good laugh at all our nakedness knowing all the photos were taken throughout winter, which all the men constantly pointed out.”
Farmers included in the calendar include shearers, header mechanics, farmers working with horses or heading out pigging, Ellie said.
She said she’s been surprised by the number of volunteers willing to bare all for a great cause.
The idea came when Ellie came across The Naked Farmer calendars created by Ben Brooksby in Victoria.
“We thought the idea of a naked calendar would be a fun if scary way of raising awareness. Perhaps having the courage to appear naked will inspire the others to find the courage to seek help early,” she said.
Ellie thanked photographer Chontelle Perrin for donating her time to help make the calendar possible.
“She also has a farming background helping drive her to make this calendar a reality. Her ability to make everyone who has to strip off feel comfortable and have fun makes it so much easier,” she said.
The calendar is called The Hilltops Naked Farmer and will be available at the end of the year for 2019.
