Staff are inviting members and the community to a sausage sizzle on Friday from 11am until 1pm for a gold coin donation.

South West Slopes Credit Union’s Vicki Maxwell said all branches across the area are collecting donations for Buy A Bale.

“We wanted to help out,” she said.

“We’re a community based organisation and we do sponsor a lot of community functions, sporting clubs and associations within the community and the staff themselves wanted to try and do something.

“We decided this is what we can do to help for the time being.”

The credit union will take donations for a couple weeks.
