Things got off to a flyer in the Riverina League with defending premiers Leeton-Whitton seeing off a favoured Mangoplah-Cookardinia United-Eastlakes outfit in their elimination final.
The Crows ran out 13.11 (89) to 10.10 (70) victors and will face Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong in next week’s minor semi final after the Lions’ qualifying final loss to Collingullie-Glenfield Park.

Over in the world of Football Wagga and the Pascoe Cup, Lake Albert completed a perfect regular season with a 4-1 win over South Wagga and will enjoy a free pass to the top four alongside Henwood Park, who smashed Tolland 6-0 on Saturday night.
We were also right across the Riverina League netball finals and Leonard Cup soccer.
