A 46-year-old Young man was charged with a string offences after damaging multiple houses, smashing windows of vehicles and assaulting a person on Saturday morning.

Police allege the offender damaged three homes and two vehicles parked outside residences on William Street, threw a mug at an occupant, then locked himself inside his home.
Police required assistance from Young NSW Fire and Rescue in gaining entry into the man’s William Street house.
He was contained and conveyed by ambulance to Young Hospital for a mental health assessment.
On release he was arrested and charged with assault, intimidation and malicious damage and released on conditional bail.
No one was injured during the course of the incident.
Police will allege the man kicked in a door and smashed several windows of homes and vehicles by throwing rocks.
It’s also alleged the 46-year-old man turned on a hose and threw it through a broken window. He’ll face court at a later date.
