The small rural village of Bribbaree will become a swarm of activity on the Saturday of the October long weekend when it holds its 92nd annual show.

A day for the whole family to have plenty of fun the Bribbaree show offers rides and lots of free activities for everyone including, kids running races, tug of war, a pedal tractor farm, the Farmers Challenge, little people of the show, the Kentucky hands on animal farm.
As well as the free events show goers can also enjoy the amazing local talent on display in the pavilion and watch all the talented animals on display. There are plenty of exhibits to keep the whole family entertained.

This year there will be over $4,000 cash to be won in the horse ring events with double chance rounds in the show hack and show hunter rings. Led events are also hotly contested in the six ring program which include breed classes as well as height classes for the hacks and show hunters.
“Bribbaree Show provides competitors with a friendly atmosphere, with improved riding surface with sand spread all over the rings, making an ideal surface for the horses to qualify for the Sydney, Canberra and other prestigious events,” a committee spokesperson said.
“The horse ring program has been revamped with exciting new classes.”
Some of the additional classes added to the program now include Palomino and Australian Hunter Horse Association Classes.
The ever popular show jumping will have some massive prize money up for grabs, over $1,500, with the inclusion of the Junior and Open Six Bar from 3pm close to where spectators can easily view the amazing talent of both horse and rider as they attempt to jump high, fast and straight.
Riders of all ages including juniors have been catered for with locals encouraged to get in and have a go with show ring attire not required. Some classes will only be open to riders in Pony Club uniform.
Breeds of all sizes will be in ring three with led and ridden classes. The breeds ring will be open to all horses who are registered with their associated societies including Arabian and Arabian Derivative, ANSA, Australian Pony, Riding Pony Stud Book, Australian Saddle Pony, Welsh, Part Welsh, Palomino and the impressive Baroque breeds.
The small breed ring will kick off from 8:30am for Miniatures, Shetlands and Small Horses.
Australian Stock Horses (ASH) will be performing in ring five. The ASH ring will start later than usual to allow competitors the opportunity to compete in the hacks or hunter classes and other breed events. The most successful exhibit in the ASH ring will be awarded the John Trudgett - High Point Perpetual Trophy.
