The session is a great opportunity for parents and children to see the clubhouse and learn how they can be actively involved in swimming in 2018-2019.
The information session will provide details regarding how to register, training options, Friday night swimming club and external carnivals. Children can meet the coaches and others involved in running the club.

As with any sporting club, many parents donate their time and effort to make it an enjoyable club with benefits to the whole family.
“Our weekly Friday night is aimed at families to come and enjoy a fun social evening while kids swim and try to improve their performance,” a spokesperson for the club said.
Existing members are asked to keep an eye out for their membership renewal email. Anyone wishing to use their Active Kids voucher are asked to please contact the club via email youngswimmingclub@gmail.com before clicking and completing their registration. Vouchers cannot be redeemed after registration.

For the last two years Young Swimming Club has had members participate in the Swimming NSW Leadership Camp – this is part of the Club’s development in helping to instill leadership skills into older swimmers, so they can assist in mentoring junior members. This year Tom McEvoy and Lucy Madden will be taking part and the club is looking forward to their positive actions and contributions throughout the season.
The Aquatic Centre officially re-opens on Saturday October 6 at 10am.
