Joel Edwards, of William Street, was convicted at Young Local Court on Tuesday on a charge of destroy property, intimidation and distribute an intimate image without consent.
He was sentenced to 12 months jail with a non parole period of four months.

Police facts tendered at court reveal Edwards smashed an iPhone, threatened self-harm to intimidate and distributed a screenshot of a personal photo.
Appearing at court in custody via audio visual link, Edwards apologised for his actions.
“I’m willing to pay the consequences,” he said.
Magistrate Michael O’Brien noted that Edwards was subject to a suspended sentence at the time of offending during June and July this year.

”Your behaviour is deplorable,” Mr O’Brien said.
“You wouldn’t like it done to any of your family members.
“The only one responsible for you being in the position you’re in is you.”
He’ll be eligible for release on December 20.
