On last Saturday another Honor Oliver Memorial golf event was held at the golf club and attracted 74 players. Thanks to the Oliver family for their continued support.

The mixed fourball was the major event and the winners were James French and Joan Coddington with 45 points. In second place were Sandy Pronk and Alan Anderson with 43 points.
Greg Grounds won the mens individual event with 42 points and Larraine Nicolls was the ladies individual winner with 38 points.
James French and Allan Moore won the NTP's.
On Sunday the medley was won by Ron Flynn on 42 points from Steve May on 36 points. Brian Christie was third on a countback.
The social club played over 9 holes and Peter Norton was the winner with 30 nett from Rob Harvey on 34 nett. Ross Manskie was third on a countback.
This coming weekend which is the October long weekend we will have a single event on Saturday.
The highlight of the weekend will be the 2 day Legends Professional tournament which will start on Monday with the pro Am.
I think the draw has been finalised but if any one is interested in playing they might contact the pro shop. A spot may be found.
Spectators will be very welcome to follow the players as they attack our golf course.
Hit off times will be available from the pro shop.
The following weekend we will have the October monthly medal event sponsored by Keith Simmons Engineering.
Just a mention about veterans golf and the Junee club are holding a vets golf day on Tuesday 9th October.
A single stableford for men and ladies is the event with a shotgun start at 9.00am for 9.30am.
Closer to Young entries are coming in for the Veterans Week of Golf in November.
Local players can get an entry form from the pro shop.
