Junior cricket heats up with the warm weather

Young Junior Cricket Association are ready to take on the 2018/2019 season as well as looking for players for an inter-town competition.

Young Junior Cricket are seeking expressions of interest from players interested in playing representative cricket in the inter-town competition in the Under 12s and Under 14s.

The association is also looking for people interested in coaching or managing either of the sides.

The competition will be six rounds as well as the semi and final. 

Round 1 – October 21

Round 2 – October 28

Round 3 – November 4

Round 4 – December 9

Round 5 – February 3

Round 6 – February 10

Semi finals – February 24

Final – March 3

Town comp ready for action 

Young Junior Cricket Association registrations closed on Wednesday but players are ready for the summer season.

Blasters start on October 15 with the girls only competition hitting off on October 16. Juniors, 11s, 13s and 16s will all hit the pitch on October 20.
