The ABC reporter files court stories for television, radio and online, as well as presenting TV and radio news. Jamelle Wells has been in court during some of Australia’s major trials over the past decade: the ICAC inquiries into former NSW Labor Government Ministers, the Gordon Wood, Keli Lane, Robert Xie and Jeffrey Gilham murder trials, the Lindt Café siege inquest and many more.
During her talk she vividly recounted tales of court drama, bringing tragedy as well as humanity to her observations. An extensive question and answer session followed, after which Jamelle signed copies of her book.
