St John’s will hold its third Christmas Tree Festival during the Young Cherry Festival weekend from November 30 to December 2.
Businesses, craft and community groups are invited to once again take part in the fun by making or decorating a Christmas tree that reflects their business or group.
Trees can either be real, steel, artificial or creatively devised as can the decorations that will adorn the trees.
“We hope local organisations, service clubs, businesses, clubs, schools, craft groups, council, churches, faith groups, families and private individuals will be encouraged to be part of this exciting community event,” a church spokesperson said.
Anyone with any queries or who would like to participate are asked to contact the St John’s office on 63821811 or by emailing stjyoung@bigpond.com. Application forms are available at the office.
