Thursday, November 15 is the last day people can choose not to have their own My Health Record created to store you important health information and share it securely online with your health professionals.
To date the MPHN digital health team, have provided 145 face-to-face opportunities for people to learn about how a My Health Record works, its benefits and how you can control your privacy.
MPHN CEO Melissa Neal said feedback from the various information sessions and public displays has been overwhelmingly positive.
“I’m confident by the end of the opt-out period, people will feel more empowered to make an informed decision,” she said.
My Health Record brochures can be found in local libraries, pharmacies, medical centres and post offices.
