Amanda Turnbull has been driving in great form of late and should set the pace in race one with Hey Suzie from a favourable barrier draw.

The five-year-old mare ran an eye catching second last time out at Bathurst following a close fourth at Parkes previously.

Taylah Studleigh is overdue for a change in luck following placings Bathurst, Young and Dubbo before running sixth at Bathurst last start in fast time.

Miss Fifi can throw a good run in occasionally and this race could suit for a minor placing for her.

Betterbetbig will have start number 64 here and it could be the final countdown for the six year old if he somehow fails to fire.

In race two. Nathan Turnbull has freshened Lukes Gift up after two good wins albeit was in slower times, and is drawn to lead and win in this class of race.

Sky Hunter is lightly raced, four starts with a win and two minor placings in Victoria, including a win on a rain effected track. Will be interesting if Amanda challenges for the lead.

Our Sir Diver started at Temora on Saturday and has been racing well for Amy Day and will be thereabouts.

Polemarker Harley James ran an honest race at Bathurst last start and is a place chance here at long odds.

In race three, Claimer Willbe Doc comes into this race well with placings at Young and Parkes late last year and is a C4 pacer with a win three starts back at Parkes rating 2:00.1 for 2040 metres.

Harry Turbo comes from South of the border following placings at Albury and Cobram, winner rating 1:59.6 1670 metres.

Another Buddy followed the pace at Bathurst last start when third, winner rating 1:56.8 and should be running on here.

Big Heart is a five year old Steve Turnbull trained. Also, Big Jim pacer looking for win number five. He ran fifth at Bathurst last start and could improve.

Jake and Luke Davis are regular visitors to Young and will combine in race four.

Studleigh Kristen should repay them for their consistency with a win here following a third at Bathurst last week.

Karinya Mully continues to race well in this company so far and is drawn well.

His second at Young followed by a second at Parkes last week was very good.

Switowski ran at Parkes last time out and was not in his best behaviour, pay to forget that run, won two from three when last in work.

Kyalla Stuart will give a great sight for a long time from gate one.

Race five looks the hardest race of the night in terms of picking. Peggy Sue Shannon from the “in form” Peter Bullock stable looks best of them. Peter’s team is firing at the moment.

Tulhurst Terror ran an honest second after sitting behind the leader at Parkes last week and is drawn to do the same again in race six at Young tonight. 

The pacer has been handy in his races and could see a change of luck here. Stablemate Tulhurst Lover could have other ideas from a better draw although he has not won a race since November 14 at Parkes rating 2:02.8. 

A Good Ideal has been constant without winning, well down the track when third, beaten 44.4 metres at Albury last start. 

Pop The Porsh in race seven looks the best bet on the programme following three good runs at Parkes, Dubbo and Bathurst recently.

Trained by Jane Morris at Spring Hill, the four year old looks ready to break through for her first win.

Donna Georgina his racing with vigour and is close to a win with some luck in running.  Seconds at Canberra and Young recently puts her right into this with luck. 

In race eight, Wandary Muscat is having second start since resuming from a 12 month spell, first up second at Bathurst ($2.40 fav) was good and will be improved by that run.

Winners rate 1:59.4 beaten by a head over 1730 meters. Ess Jay Pee was second last start at Goulburn, winners rate 1:57.5 and will be improved by that run.

Mystical Shannon has the right draw and could lead, seven starts with no early signs may be a factor. Temora trainer Ray Walker in race nine has the draw and the machinery to take out race nine with Rocknroll Da Gama.

Look for the three year old to jump to the front and set a merry dance.
