Young’s aquatic centre will be transformed into a giant bath tub filled with rubber ducks for The Georgina Josephine Family Fun Duck Day.

The much loved yearly event for the whole family, with lots of entertainment and kids’ and family swimming races throughout the day will be held on Sunday, February 17.
Gates open 10am with the GJF Cup as the final activity at 2.30pm.
Entry in the GJF Cup is $5 per duck.
In the event ducks are held in place by noodles.
On go the audience will help propel the ducks to other side by sitting along one side of the pool and kicking their legs in the water.
Other events include Pepe’s Ducks Noodle Nest Race at 11.30pm which involves a four person team collecting a mummy duck and three eggs (one at a time) from the other side of the pool, to put in their ‘noodle nest’.
At 12.30pm in the NRG Fitness Family Race – 2 adults, 2 kids per team mum and dad pull/swim across the pool with a child in a chair made of noodles. The child collects one duck, returns and swaps children. The aim is to collect mummy duck and three baby ducks.
The Donges SUPA IGA Dress Up Duck Race at 1.30pm is a four person team event which sees members swim across the pool collecting pieces of clothing
All day entertainment will include a jumping castle, face painting, duck toss, novelty events, lucky gate prize, open age races and a rock climbing wall.
