A Community Correction Order is used to punish offenders for crimes that do not warrant imprisonment or an Intensive Corrections Order but are too serious to be dealt with by a fine or lower level penalty.
Jayden Parnell of Murringo Street was charged with the offences following an incident in October last year.
During the incident Parnell, 20, threatened to blow up his victim’s car before also telling the victim to leave Young within 12 hours.
Police say he also told the victim “I’ll bash you”.
