Young resident praises our power teams for storm season work

The constant string of bipolar weather and dry thunderstorms has kept the Young area’s Essential Energy and Emergency Services on their feet for weeks on end now and the community are speaking out about how grateful to these teams they are for putting themselves at risk during these scary times, in order to serve their community.

Young resident Peter Spring says the current storm season had given the teams a "flogging" and they deserve a mention.

“They have been going non stop for months now, out all day until ridiculous morning hours, then recently with the big issue out Cowra way, “ Peter said.

“You couldn’t pay me enough to be up a pole in a storm, so Essential Energy definitely deserve a mention as I’m sure they are all missing good family time in order to keep the region powered,” he said.
