Mitch Prest, Josh Coade and Charlie Corcoran represented the Riverina Bulls under 16s while a promising quartet of Jacob Lucas, Steve Anderson, Tom Jenkins and Will Hills turned out for the Bulls under 18s.
Also Nic Hall and Harry Fitzpatrick took to the field for the Canberra Raiders SG Ball under 18s.
“From what I’ve heard they all went really well,” Young Cherrypickers first grade coach Roy Jewitt said.

“We had a lot of juniors and under 23s playing representative footy on the weekend, a few for the Raiders as well so it’s been a busy weekend for the Pickers.”
The Riverina under-23s scored a gutsy 38-34 win over the Victorian under-20s, the match played in 20 minute quarters with the mercury reaching a top 33.5 degrees in Albury.
Corcoran started at halfback while second-rower Cowled and dummy-half Wall were introduced from the bench. All three players enjoyed quality game time and emerged unscathed.
“I think they are a bit sore, but they’ve all pulled up fine after good performances,” Jewitt said.
“The under-23s boys have been putting in the extras with rep training at Wagga, but there’s been a few standouts [in pre-season].”

The under 16s trio were part of a winning Riverina side in the opening round of the Andrew Johns Cup, while the 18s also triumphed in the first round of the Laurie Daley Cup.
Both sides beat Greater Southern Region at Kirkham Oval, Camden.
The Bulls will host Western Rams this weekend at West Wyalong in round two of the seven-week competition featuring some of the best young talent in regional NSW.
Young’s Nic Hall and Harry Fitzpatrick have secured contracts with the Raiders SG Ball side and were in action on the weekend.
Fitzpatrick crossed for a try in the Green Machine’s round two 44-16 loss to Balmain Tigers.
Unfortunately Hall suffered in injury to his collarbone during the early stages of the clash.
