Taking out first place this week were Frank Davidson and Jenny McAinsh on 56 per cent just ahead of pairs Fran Meagher and Kathy Rolfe, and David Murray and Mark Hawker who came in equal second on 54 per cent each.
Following in fourth place with 53 per cent were Val Robinson and Maureen Braddon.

In fifth place were Heather Worner and Jane Wallace and the final position went to Joyce Meale and Joyce Cavanagh.

Bridge is more complicated than other card games, and beginners are sometimes discouraged by this.
