For seven decades, across the South West Slopes, Riverina and beyond, Twomeys has provided financial services to help businesses grow and clients prosper.
The philosophy
From humble beginnings in 1949, when Frank Twomey established his own business, the Twomeys of today is a testament to its staff and constant core values.
"Our firm is aligned in its focus," Twomeys' director Kerrie Walsh said. "We are all passionate about delivering quality service to clients, we genuinely care and we are committed to the ongoing success of our clients, our team and our community."
Twomeys has a strong foundation of core values: integrity, trust, respect, teamwork, client focus and being community minded.
"Each and every person at Twomeys is passionate about assisting clients to achieve their goals – our motto is that we are more than just accountants," she said.
"We take a genuine interest in you and your business and offer support and guidance in taxation, accounting, financial planning, business advisory services and self managed super funds."

Seventy years
"Twomeys is extremely proud to be celebrating a wonderful milestone of 70 years in business in 2019," Ms Walsh said. "It is a special thanks we offer to our clients and staff, both past and present, and business partners in our community who have helped us on our journey to this special anniversary.
"I feel very proud to work at Twomeys and I love being part of the hardworking and friendly team who have such a positive, can-do attitude."
New members
Twomeys has recently appointed two new principals to join Kerrie Walsh, Jenny Officer, Matthew Paterson and Michael Twomey.
"We are excited to have the calibre of Stephen Thurn and Michael Gay join our principal group," Ms Walsh said.
Mr Thurn joined Twomeys in December 2018, leaving a senior position with Deloittes in Sydney to work in Twomeys' Young and Cowra offices, bringing 30 years experience to the firm.
"I chose Twomeys as it was a well-established firm with a broad reach across the region, with long serving leadership and team members," he said.
Mr Thurn will assist clients in all aspects of their accounting and taxation matters, including business advisory, structure, asset protection and wealth creation strategies.
Michael Gay is Twomeys' in-house financial planner, working for all four offices.
"Michael’s expert knowledge in his field, his easy to understand delivery of superannuation and financial planning advice, together with the strong trusted relationships he develops with clients and our team is second to none," Ms Walsh said.
