Clubman Nick Duff says morale is high after last week's tough 10-10 draw against Grenfell in the opening round of the South West Oils Plus competition.
Duff said players have been working on ball handling, building phases and capitalising on opportunities when they arise.
"It was the first game of the year so it was never going to be pretty. We fought all the way to the end and no one had a bad game, however there's plenty we can improve," Nick Duff said.
"We've been training well and morale is high so I believe we'll be competitive this weekend."
In a blow for the Yabbies, skipper Ned Mullany is sidelined with an injury. Dan O'Connor, Brendan Shoard and Hamish Kaveneny will look to lead in absence.
The Yabbies host Boorowa at Cranfield Oval on Saturday at 3.15pm.
